Indian Web Series Actors Who've Made A Mark

Everyone knows about the charismatic and breathtaking actors of Bollywood industry as it is always in limelight. But there is another industry who is slowly tightening its grip and pulling he crowd rapidly towards itself. It is the Web Series Industry or technically the OTT Platforms. This section of digital media is growing so rapidly, that one can't even hold on for a second if he/she wishes to watch each and every content on it. And there are some actors and actresses who've made quite a mark in this industry and played characters which can never be forgotten. So here are the Indian web Series Actors who've made a mark in the industry :

1. Amol Parashar

Amol Parashar, is an Indian actor associated with TVF. Amol's most famous work is his portrayal of Chitvan Sharma in the superhit web series TVF Tripling, a show about 3 siblings taking a road trip together. The character is one of the most popular characters on the Indian internet. He made his debut with the movie Rocket Singh : Salesman Of The Year and continued his acting career since then. He was an IIT Delhi student and quit is job to pursue a career in acting. He appeared in Rocket Singh, Babloo Happy Hai, Traffic and many more. But his notable works are from those in the Digital Industry, like TVF Tripling, TVF Bisht Please, Home, Ready2Mingle, Parchhayee etc. He is hands down the most loved Indian Web Series Actors solely because of his role Chitvan Sharma.

2. Sumeet Vyas

Sumeet Vyas is an Indian actor and writer of films, web series and theatre. His breakthrough role was Mikesh Chaudhary in TVF's 2014 web series Permanent Roommates. He is one of the promising actors from  the industry and has quite good name. He also acted in various films like Aarakshan, English Vinglish, Aurangzeb, Parched, Veere Di Wedding, Made In China etc. His notable works from the OTT Platforms are TVF Permanent Roommates, TVF Tripling, Official Chukyagiri, Official CEOgiri etc. His role in TVF Tripling was a hit too and was a part of the most iconic dialogue of Web Series Industry "Baba, you're beautiful".

3. Jitendra Kumar  

Jitendra Kumar is an Indian actor, mostly known for his work in web series. He is famous for his roles in comedy sketches of The Viral Fever. He is widely known for his characters Jeetu Bhaiya, Munna Jazbaati, Gittu and Arjun Kejriwal. He gained a good name and critical accliams after his role of Aman Tripathi in Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan. He is popularly addressed as Jeetu Bhaiya. His famous works are TVF Pitchers, TVF Bachelors Season 2, Kota Factory and recently released Panchayat on Amazon Prime Video. His role in Kota Factory was appreciated a lot and got rating of 9.1/10 on IMDB.

4. Aisha Ahmed

Aisha Ahmed is one of the most beautiful and prettiest actors of the industry. Her acting skills are too good and has gained popularity through the web series 'Adulting' which also stars Yashaswini Dayama. Her popular works include Adulting, Chhaju Ke Dahi Bhalle, Zindagi Inshort, Minus One, Adulting, 3 Storeys etc. Her role as Nikhat Rizvi in Adulting was one of the best character role played so far. I personally liked it and its worth a try.

5. Dhruv Sehgal

With Little Things he became one of the internet's most famous boyfriends, but actor Dhruv Sehgal is also the writer of sketches like Confusing Things Girlfriends Say and Annoying Things Boyfriends Do. The one thing common across his on screen and off screen personas is his shy smile. He has co-written and acted in many comedy sketches such as Confusing Things Girlfriends Say and Annoying Things Boyfriends Do for Filter Copy. He also portrays the lead role in the series Little Things, opposite Mithila Palkar, since 2016. Sehgal is the creator and writer of the series. In 2018, he was part of a panel at the Indian Screenwriters Conference.

6. Mithila Palkar

Mithila is an Indian actress known for her characters in the TV series Girl in the City and Netflix's Little Things. She rose to prominence in March 2016 with her Marathi version of the "cup song". She made her acting debut in 2014 in the Marathi language short film Majha Honeymoon. Her first Bollywood film was Nikhil Advani's Katti Batti. She also enacted popular roles like Nirma in Chopsticks which aired on Netflix last year and Tanya in Karwaan which released in 2018. He popular role by far are the ones from Girl In The City and Little Things.

7. Yashaswini Dayama

Yashaswini Dayama, the cute little child of the industry has got a box full of expressions to portray. Her smile and persona is so infectious that the person the other end of the screen might as well get infected. Although she made her debut with the film Phobia, it was Dear Zindagi which gave her the boost. Her role as Jackie is one to be cherished and then on she went on to do child like role in Adulting. Adulting, What The Folks, Made In Heaven, Delhi Crime and the recent short film Devi are her prominent works. But her role as Ray Madhav in Adulting and Jackie in Dear Zindagi makes you to love her even more.

8. Naveen Kasturia

Naveen Kasturia is an Indian actor known for his work in TVF drama series - Pitchers. He started his career working as an assistant director on the film Jashnn and then assisted Dibakar Banerjee on Love Sex Aur Dhokha and Shanghai. He also appeared as the lead actor in the critically acclaimed film Sulemani Keeda. His breakthrough performance in TVF Pitchers as Naveen Bansal made him one of the prominent Indian web series actors. His other acclaimed works are Darbari Lal in Bose Dead or Alive, Sushil in Fuh Se Fantasy, Amit in Thinkistan and Jimmy in Parchhayee. 

9. Nidhi Singh

Nidhi Singh is an Indian television and film actress. She was known for her character as Tanya Nagpal in Permanent Roommates, an Indian web series created by The Viral Fever and Biswapati Sarkar in. In 2018 she appeared as Ayesha Kumar in the film Dil Juunglee alongside Taapsee Pannu and Saqib Saleem. She also played roles in various web series like Humorously Yours, Apharan, Immature, M.O.M-Mission Over Mars. She was portrayed as an ideal girlfriend when there was huge talk about Permanent Roommates.
