Upcoming Series and Movies on Amazon Prime Video

Amazon Prime Video is indefinitely on of the best digital streaming platforms in India and across the world. It gained quite a lot of fame in India by releasing some great series. Series like Mirzapur, Inside Edge, Breathe, Made In Heaven, Four More Shots Please, The Family Man and many more gained quite name for Amazon Prime in India. Some of the upcoming series and movies coming on Amazon Prime in 2020 are listed below.

1. Dilli

Dilli, a series based on the dark side of  Indian politics. Series is starring Saif Ali Khan as the lead role, who gained fame in digital industry through Sacred Games. Saif is set to debut his Amazon Prime career with Dilli. The series is directed by Bollywood fame director Ali Abbas Zafar who had also directed Sultan, Tiger Zinda Hai, Bharat etc. The series is written by Article 15 writer Gaurav Solanki. The series also stars Sunil Grover, Mohd Zeeshan Ayub and Sarah Jane Dias.

2. Gormint

The highly anticipated comedy show of AIB which got pretty much delayed due to some issues is set to roll out this year. It was initially supposed to star Irrfan in the lead role but due to controversies he opted out of it. Manav Kaul will now be starring in the lead role. The show also features Shikha Talsania who appeared in movies like Wake Up Sid and Veere Di Wedding. This show is also based on Indian Politics but with a humor touch in it. It surely is a must watch and for the fact that AIB produces some good content too. 

3. Paatal Lok

One of the most awaited series is this. The crime thriller from Sudip Sharma the writer of Sonchiriya and Udta Punjab, is the one which people are eagerly waiting to watch. Given the critical acclaims of both Sonchiriya and Udta Punjab, this one's gonna be a content driven show too. The show has some amazing actors starring in it which makes us want to watch it even more. Actors like Jaideep Ahlawat, Neeraj Kabi, Gul Panag and more are too hard to resist. A bunch of talented people are surely going to coming up with one of the best series of 2020. 

4. Bandish Bandits 

The musical love story between a pop sensation and a classical singer. The story is directed by Anand Tiwari who directed Band Baaja Baaraat and Love Per Square Foot. The music is composed by the super hit trio Shankar Ehsaan Loy and is expected to be a masterpiece. The show stars Naseeruddin Shah and Atul Kulkarni in the lead role and the final cast is yet to be announced. It is one of the awaited show on Amazon Prime too.

5. Mirzapur Season 2 

The show which broke some serious records in India is all set to release it's second season this year. The eagerly awaited show which has made everyone go crazy will soon be announcing the release date of second season. The show stars Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, Divyenndu Sharma, Shweta Tripathi and others. The first season was a smash hit which made some serious impressions. Season 2 is set to make history and people are surely gonna love it. 

6. Breathe Season 2

The critically acclaimed series which made some serious discussions will be releasing it's second season this year. The show which starred R Madhavan as the lead in first season will now be replaced by Abhishek Bachchan in season two. While Amit Sadh will be playing the cop role in this season too. Fans are eagerly waiting for this one too and the makers are surely not gonna  disappoint them.
