Series And Movies To Binge Watch If You Haven't Yet
Indian Digital Industry has surely seen a big rise in the last 4 years. All these series have gained quite good critic reviews and have also won awards at many International Events. The future of this industry is sure to be as bright as of the film industry. During this tough time of CoronaVirus pandemic, people are very much advised to stay home. Home quarantine is one of the most effective way to stop the spread of CoronaVirus. So there are some series and movies which you can binge watch while staying at home. Here are they :
1. TVF Pitchers
One of the best show in Indian Digital Industry which has gained so much fame that people started calling their friends by the names of characters. A dialogue from this series "Tu kaun hai? Tu beer hai." is an iconic dialogue which every series lover remembers. The show is rated 9.2/10 on IMDB which is too much to ask for. The series keeps you engaged till the end and the blend of humor with emotions and content makes it worth watching with friends as well as family too. If I were to recommend someone about a series to watch first, this would be it. And also, this is the first ever series I watched. You can watch it on TVF Play App which is available on Google Play Store.
2. Breathe
The Amazon Prime Original has made way for many critic reviews to flow in. The series which starred R Madhavan and Amit Sadh in lead is one of the much anticipated ones. Madhavan plays a loving single dad named Danny, whose 6-year-old son is suffering from a lung disease. The sight of young Josh with pipes and tubes sticking out of him is a source of tremendous pain for Danny. Josh is number four on the list to get a new lung, which means that four donors would have to die before it’s his turn to be saved. The first season is available on Amazon Prime Video.
3. Sacred Games
This might be a weird inclusion because almost all the series lovers must have definitely seen this. But the way Amitabh Bachchan comes in mind when asked about the best actors of all time in Bollywood, the same way Sacred Games does when asked about series recommendation. The series sure has some slangs which you might not be comfortable watching with elders of the family, but gives some serious chills while watching with friends and people of mid-ages. Acting, characters, plot and what not. Everything is a smash hit. All the characters have become so popular, that it's demand has given rise to many sponsors jump in. It surely is one of the best series made in India and by the Indians.
4. Mirzapur
Mirzapur which was considered a twin brother series of Sacred Games, has a fan base of its own kind. The thriller which revolved around the mass killing and rowdism in Eastern Indian states have given some mind blowing contents to people. Even this series created a lot of noise in the Digital Industry and gained a massive audience to follow it. The characters weren't as famous as the ones from Sacred Games, but the dialogues were pretty much in talk and memes. This series too has a lot of slangs and abusive content which might disturb the elders and children. Its better to watch it with the like minded people. This series is also available on Amazon Prime Video.
5. TVF Tripling
The most refreshing series which just makes you smile in every second of its run is this. TVF surely is a tough competitor to other VoD platforms given it's fan base and the power of its content. And Tripling is one example of that strong, powerful content. I personally have watched the first season thrice and the second season twice. The characters are so pleasing and simple that it doesn't feel like you're watching any alien content films. It just reflects the common audience. The series is not too unrealistic and the character Chitvan which is played by Amol Parashar will just make you fall in love with him. Sumeet Vyas who plays Chitvan's big brother also has a lovable side too. I would undoubtedly recommend everyone to watch this series. And you can watch it with your family too. This series is available on TVF Play App.
6. The Family Man
What a series. The makers Raj and DK have blended comedy with emotions and duty towards the nation so well, that you wouldn't realize it's actually a cop-based series. Manoj Bajpayee who plays the lead role is just exceptional. The acting standards he has set with Gangs Of Wasseypur, Satya, Aligarh, Sonchiriya have made everyone to buckle up. The series also features South India's heartthrob Priyamani who plays the role of Manoj's wife. The series is simply based on an investigation of a possible terror attack and a terrorist. The series was rated 8.7/10 on IMDB and is a must watch. This series also is a family binge watch material and is available on Amazon Prime Video.
